The game features various power-ups that grant Pac-Man special abilities, as well as a cast of characters with unique skills to help him on his quest. Based on the animated television series, the game follows Pac-Man's adventures in Pac-World as he battles the evil ghosts and their allies to save his home.

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures
This is like the Disney Edition of Pac-Man games. It's a simplistic, innocent platformer that will likely thrill kids and mildly entertain adults. It doesn't do anything to stand out as a must-own title, but it also does no disservice to the Pac-Man legacy. Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is a fine way to introduce a new generation to one of video game's greatest icons.

A game only for huge fans of the Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures television show, or huge fans of Pac-Man in general. It’s not terrible, but it is below average, and there are significantly better platformers out there for both children and adults. Pac-Man deserves better, and so do his fans.
