Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs-Force features solid gameplay with some interesting mechanics, but it suffers from dullness and repetitiveness, compounded by poor tutorials and heavy reliance on AI. While it provides a competent beat-em-up experience, it lacks depth and engagement, leaving players wanting more from its rich character and lore potential.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force Review
Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force has its weak points, but if you're able to overlook its shortcomings then you'll be able to find some solid gameplay. It's just unfortunate that more attention wasn't put into the localization effort, as it leaves a lot to be desired. Hardcore fans of the Gundam series should give it a shot, but everyone else should proceed with caution.

If you’re looking for a pretty challenging fighting game, with lots of missions lasting less than ten minutes each, then you’ll probably get a kick out of this.

All in all, Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Force accomplishes what it set out to do. It introduced western players to the surprisingly deep combat that overseas arcades and consoles have enjoyed for some time. Unfortunately, the core was marred by the inclusion of a single-player campaign that could’ve done with a bit a more time and polish.
