“You'll need a second life for grinding.”
“This game is extremely tedious and a slog to get through.”
“Finding and collecting all the caricatures is kind of tedious and sucks most fun out of the levels, and the open world isn't that open and kind of sucks to explore them.”

“This is a very good LEGO game, but if you are looking for more replay value, LEGO Marvel has more.”

Overall, "Lego Batman 3" shows significant improvements in optimization, particularly with smoother gameplay at 60fps compared to the 30fps cap on consoles. While some users experienced stuttering issues that could be mitigated by running the game in compatibility mode, the overall performance, character selection, and flying mechanics have been notably enhanced, reflecting the developers' responsiveness to previous feedback.

“A good game has challenging combat, tight controls, an engaging story, interesting characters, a thought-provoking plot, and is well optimized.”
“Running the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode as an administrator with 'full screen optimizations' disabled notably reduced the frequency of stutters, but it didn't stop them.”
“Comparatively, flying is a lot smoother than it was in Batman 2, and I think they've taken a lot of the critical feedback to heart and really optimized the game well.”

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Review
While the game is by no means perfect and there are a few issues present that should have been sorted by now, Lego Batman 3 looks great, plays superb, and provides enough humour and action to keep players engaged.
80%LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Review
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham feels like a step back for the sub-series. A lazy story, as well as a lack of open world content, prevents this from building upon the broad shoulders of its PlayStation 3 predecessor – even if it does have stunning visuals and some neat minigames. DC Comics fans will get a buzz out of some aspects of the release, while those that really enjoy LEGO titles may find fun here – but everyone else should try the demo first.
