TLDR: Mouse over resources dropped by defeated giants to collect them.  It costs 3 Wood to Craft a Spear for a Hoplite, and 2 Wood and 2 Stone to Craft a Bow for an Archer.  Click on the craft buttons to spend resources and spawn units.  See how long you can hold out and have fun.
