Impressive efforts with a few noticeable problems holding them back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth your time and cash.

As a demon vowing revenge on the evil emperor Void Dark, you'll travel across Netherworlds, gathering allies to join your fight against his massive army. Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance review
Wonderful combat but the world around it has some flaws that you just can’t ignore.
70%Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance Review – Revengeance, Dood!
There is a staggering amount of content in Disgaea 5, all serving the central, compelling and nuanced gameplay system. It's enough for Disgaea 5 to grip you, and then not let you go for the next several dozen hours.

If you enjoy grinding numbers, goofy anime antics, and over-the-top style, Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will give you hundreds of hours of replayability. If you don’t like the idea of spending hours and hours replaying levels and building up characters, then you might want to look somewhere else.
