Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
- September 13, 2007
- Square Enix
Crisis Core has an excellent cast and an inventive yet easy to use combat system that distinguishes itself from other Final Fantasy games. However, the DMW can get tedious or distracting after a while, and the plot at times is overly confusing, following in the grand tradition of Final Fantasy games. Still, buoyed by a wonderful score and solid art direction, the game manages to step out of the shadow of its predecessor and stand on its own right.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is an action-packed RPG featuring the Digial Mind Wave system, which enhances battle gameplay by unleashing special attacks and summons. The game boasts impressive graphics, CG cutscenes, and voice acting, all presented in a 16:9 widescreen format, delivering an immersive and exciting gaming experience. The story follows Zack Fair, a young and ambitious 2nd Class SOLDIER, on his mission to uncover the truth behind the corrupt Shinra Corporation and the ongoing conflicts that threaten the world of Final Fantasy VII.
