"Cookies" is a video game set in the gritty, drug-ridden town of Darby, where gang violence, poverty, and addiction run rampant. The game is a surreal blend of "Silent Hill," "Twin Peaks," and "The Wire," with a heavy dose of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." The story takes place in the city's most notorious housing project, the Orange Grove Houses, where a lone drug dealer hawks his wares to sun-deprived addicts amidst a backdrop of pathos, despair and the ever-present search for the next high.
