“The graphics are amazing, the physics and tricks feel realistic, and the game has the option to customize whatever you want as well as explore Barcelona and see famous street spots. Overall, an amazing and well-polished game; I would give it a 10/10 and it is now my new favorite game.”
“Finally, a new video game with realistic graphics and physics.”
“Poor graphics”
“Game is sluggish and everything is delayed, graphics are bad, doesn't feel realistic!”
“The game can't run stable whatsoever and the visuals aren't even something worth noting.”

The gameplay has received mixed reviews, with many players noting that while the graphics are impressive, the mechanics and controls are often described as sloppy, jerky, and in need of significant polishing. Some users appreciate the potential of the game and its early access status, suggesting that improvements in physics and trick execution could enhance the overall experience. However, persistent bugs and a lack of responsiveness have led to frustration, indicating that the core gameplay needs more attention before it can fully engage players.
“Honestly, I much prefer this gameplay experience to the old one.”
“The mechanics need some more polishing, but it's a great start; this is one to keep an eye on.”
“The game overall looks great; there are some iffy looking bits as to be expected with a small team of devs, but the core gameplay and grinding physics is top notch. With the way it's going, it will surely only improve over time.”
“Overall game mechanics are sloppy and the whole game feels uninspired.”
“Had high hopes for this but the control layout sucks, gameplay is jerky and tricks may as well not have been coded into the game.”
“This game has some great features when it comes to customization but that's pretty much all it has; the controls are shockingly bad and the physics are a mess. It's basically unplayable.”

The game's stability is a significant concern, with users reporting numerous bugs and glitches, particularly in its early access state. Many players advise waiting for updates before playing, as the game currently struggles to run smoothly and features limited functionality. Overall, the experience is marred by instability, with some maps and physics issues making it difficult to enjoy.
“Once again, the devs have done a runner; there's been no knowledge on updates or announcements for nearly a year. It's just a broken, buggy mess. Do yourself a favor and wait for BMX Streets.”
“If I were you, I would wait until it has been updated a few times. There may be a cool map, but the game can barely run, only has 3 tricks, and is very buggy.”
“Love the game, but I can't even access the Barcelona map, and the physics are all jittery and buggy.”

Overall, players find the grinding mechanics in the game to be a mixed bag; while some believe they need simplification and improvement, others appreciate the core gameplay and physics. Experienced players may find grinding manageable, but there are calls for enhancements in specific areas like the bunny hop and trick system. Despite its current state, many users remain optimistic about the game's potential for future development.
“The grinding mechanics should be simplified a bit.”
“The grinding mechanism definitely needs work, but overall I like the game so far!”
“The bunny hop really needs work and the trick system, I feel like, but grinding shouldn't be a problem for those with experience with these types of games.”

The monetization aspect of the game is heavily criticized, with users labeling it a "cash grab" and expressing disappointment in its quality and gameplay mechanics. Many feel that the developers prioritized profit over delivering a polished experience, leading to frustration and a lack of recommendation for potential players.
“Another cash grab.”
“This cash grab development studio has the audacity to release this?”
“I don't even know where to begin... I had such high hopes and was praying the controls would be like Pipe, but they're nothing like it. I know it was made by two different companies, but I had such high hopes. I know in time it can be fixed, but in its current state, I wouldn't recommend it, as it's almost unplayable. If you guys combined with Mash, then this game would have been better than Skate, but since there are only three tricks—barspin, tailwhip, and tabletop—bunny hopping is weird, and there are a ton of areas where you think you can hop up, but then you do a 90 and are now facing the sky. I just can't give it the respect because it feels like a serious cash grab.”
