AM2R: Return of Samus

"AM2R: Return of Samus" is an unofficial remake of "Metroid II: Return of Samus" for Microsoft Windows, with enhanced graphics, music, and gameplay elements from "Metroid: Zero Mission." The game features protagonist Samus Aran on a mission to exterminate the Metroids from SR388, with new areas and a map system. However, its development was ceased in September 2016 due to a DMCA takedown request from Nintendo.
