Inetiated into the MMORPG "The World: RX", Tokio Kuryuu, a junior-high student, is tasked by AI Kite to save the Twilight Knights and unfreeze their data. To accomplish this, Tokio uses the Akashic Records to journey back in time, interacting with past characters from previous .hack series entries. Tokio's mission: become a hero and rescue the Twilight Knights to save "The World: RX".
