"Romance" is a visual novel about love and friendship. The story revolves around Shimada Shinta, a 33-year-old man who works with his friends Hiroshi Fujimoto and Nana Kokura at the same company. A year after a intern Chika Imai joins their team, her internship ends and their peaceful life is disrupted by her return. Shimada is a steady and reliable person who enjoys cooking, watching movies, and playing games, while Chika is a capable but insecure 21-year-old who doubts her abilities.
