Woven is a sedate, easy to play, colorful, game that’s imaginative and pleasant to look at. However, it starts slowly and doesn’t get much faster, and it requires a healthy chill level on the player’s part.
"Woven" is a single-player kids' action game with an engaging plot, offering approximately 17 hours of playtime. As the clumsy stuffed animal protagonist, Stuffy, players will explore a world made of fabric, uncovering the mystery behind metal machines' invasion. Changing Stuffy's shape and color, via rhythm-puzzle machines and riddles, reveals new abilities and solutions for progression.

Woven Review
Woven is not a fun game, but it’s certainly a nice story. There are concepts —particularly the body-swapping mechanic— that could have been enjoyable with the right execution, but this game doesn’t even come close to pulling them off.

Alteregos’s Woven is a sweet story built around a very cool mechanic – switching out body parts to change abilities. Unfortunately, the lack of a map (and lack of direct control of Stuffy’s powers) cause Woven to feel bewildering, with puzzles that require more dexterity than what the tiny kids that would enjoy the story could manage. Woven is so sweet that it is begging to be loved, but in the end it is simply too clunky to be endured.
