"Where There Once Was Sand" is a first-person exploration game set in a desert with a mystery buried beneath. You play as a sentient machine, able to prospect for geological opportunities, empathize with the elderly professor, or help him uncover the lost civilization of Mu. The game features a vivid atmosphere, with audio that's best experienced with headphones, and a diary system to keep track of your findings.
