Better than I really remember, though still not pulling into great territory. Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue is a genuinely fun movie tie-in from an era where most of them were garbage. It still has issues holding it down from really being memorable though.
In "Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!", Buzz Lightyear embarks on a mission to save Woody, who has been stolen and is about to be sold at a toy market. Players navigate through side-scrolling levels, battling enemies and using Buzz's trademark moves such as jumping and blasting off to reach hidden areas and coins. Along the way, they'll encounter familiar faces from the game's 3D animated movie, such as Hamm, Rex, and Slinky Dog. The game's objective is to rescue Woody and bring him back home before it's too late.
