  • graphics
    8 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The graphics of the game are generally considered outdated, resembling those from the PS2 era, which detracts from the overall experience. While some players prioritize gameplay over visuals, many express a desire for improvements and updates to modernize the graphics and enhance character customization options. Overall, the consensus suggests that the current graphical quality is a significant drawback.

    • “The character creator looks like PS2 graphics, and so far, if this is the level they are going for, the feel of the game is not great.”
    • “I would say hold out till they fix up some of the bugs, and maybe they might even throw in a character customization or update the graphics to at least the 21st century.”
    • “It makes the game look super dated, but I've never minded poor graphics for good gameplay.”
  • optimization
    4 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The game's optimization is currently a significant issue, with players reporting severe lag, stuttering, and long load times, making it nearly unplayable even on high-end PCs. While the game has potential and a visually appealing world, it requires extensive work to improve performance and fix various gameplay mechanics. Many users express hope for future updates and optimizations, indicating a willingness to support the developers despite the current shortcomings.

    • “I look forward to updates and optimizations that enhance the overall experience.”
    • “The sci-fi aspect is visually stunning, and I'm excited to see how future optimizations will improve gameplay.”
    • “I will only recommend this game on sale as it is now rather unplayable. It took 29 minutes to start and then switched to my other monitor. When I got into the game, it just lags and stutters every few seconds. I really want to get into this game because I love survival games, but this is quite broken. It's not my PC either; I have a powerful PC and can play any game maxed out with at least 120fps, but even lowering the settings to the lowest does nothing. You can't even turn the sound off, so this game needs a hell of a lot of work done. Looting doesn't work very well either, and the hitboxes and clipping are a bit broken. I will come back every so often when I see a new update, hopefully it doesn't get abandoned because apart from the many flaws, the game world is huge and there seems to be a lot to do. It's in a very early state, but I like the concept. If the constant stuttering and lagging gets fixed, it will be a great game. I won't get it refunded though because I have faith in the devs. This game seems to get updated a lot; I'd suggest getting the game just to support the devs. The world looks beautiful, the enemies look cool, shooting is pretty accurate, it just needs more optimization.”
