You find yourself in a forest shrouded in darkness by a curse. It's your job to collect lumber to fuel the bonfire, which then will fuel your torch and allow you to venture out. Find the three puzzles and bring them back, one by one, to the shrines by the bonfire, to win the game. Avoid the monsters that will suck the life from your torch, unless they are confronted.
