“The soundtrack is awful, you cannot add your own tracks, and overall it feels pretty much like a badly revamped version of a much better game from 1989.”

“The music never changes to fit your actions, and in a game about keeping a beat, that is unacceptable.”

The gameplay has received mixed reviews, with some players appreciating the innovative blend of rhythm and shoot 'em up mechanics, while others criticize the execution, citing issues like poor synchronization with music, convoluted mechanics, and a lack of engaging content. Overall, the game struggles to deliver a cohesive and satisfying experience, often feeling disjointed and uninspired.
“Imo the rhythm gameplay gels really well with shmup gameplay.”
“The concept for the game is actually pretty cool -- a scrolling shoot'em'up (shmup) with rhythm game mechanics -- hitting directional buttons to the beat of a song to destroy enemies.”
“Solid tutorial, solid gameplay.”
“I died less because of missed notes and more because I ran into a wall due to the vertical scrolling mechanics.”
“The hybrid gameplay just brings up the worst of both genres and ends up feeling like a typing tutorial or language learning game, but without the added benefit of education.”
“As for the gameplay itself, it's choppy and doesn't 'flow' with the music, which brings no connection whatsoever.”
