Read the Room.

Try to get the last laugh and battle it out against rival comedians, giving the crowd a night to remember.   That is if you can pick up on their likes and dislikes.  Watch the competition fall (literally) or fill the room with laughter, to learn what punchline would be the best choice.  In other words, Read The Room!
