Pokémon Blue Version is a kid-friendly open world game and the third core release in the Pokémon series, known as the first solitary version. It's a refined version of Pokémon Red and Green with improved graphics, sound, and bug fixes. Originally released in Japan, its game engine and script served as the basis for Pokémon Red and Blue outside of Japan, featuring altered wild and exclusive Pokémon lists.
