Ninja Pizza Girl Review
Like yesterday's pizza that just doesn't taste the same when heated up in the microwave, Ninja Pizza Girl is a decent game that doesn't excel in any area. The story has a nice sentiment but is loaded with cheese, while the physics and controls occasionally make you slip off platforms in tense moments. On the ninja front, the graphics and enemy placements can cause you to bump into obstacles and kill your flow, while the collectibles feel out of place.

There is sadly almost nothing to like about Ninja Pizza Girl. It looks and plays like a low effort tech demo, something that would come packaged on one of those old demo discs for a game that had been in development for maybe a weekend. It is obvious a lot of effort went into the game based on the interviews they include in the bonus content, but sadly effort does not always translate into quality. Featuring atrocious visuals, an abysmal story, and dull gameplay, this is a perfect combination of bad that should be thoroughly avoided if at all possible. If this game were an actual pizza, it would be a can of expired tomato sauce smeared across a Pop Tart. Ninja Pizza Girl is so bad it ruins both ninjas and pizza, which should be impossible.

Ninja Pizza Girl is an unfortunate example of a game falling apart due to poor execution. It shouldn't be overlooked for platforming or runner fans, but it's not going to change your feelings on either genre. For all it does right, it manages to do twice as much wrong. If the controls were refined, alone, it would be one of the best runners available, but even then, there are too many rough edges to overlook.
