Motion Explosion isn’t going to win any awards for innovation, but that’s okay. The “score attack” mentality that the game embraces works in its favor and will keep many gamers busy as they aim for perfection. Control issues and the lack of true multiplayer keep this from being a definite recommendation, but at a budget price there’s enough good here to justify a purchase.
Motion Explosion! is a collection of 12 mini-games that require the Kinect peripheral to play. They also use the player's avatar to represent the character. All games can be played alone or for up to four local players, taking turns. The games can be played individually in Freeplay or as Motion Mix, where three are selected randomly. By playing well in Motion Mix points can be earned to level up. …
