The game was developed as part of a one-game-a-month challenge and was inspired by Tiny Islands and Carcassonne. Art was created by Steven Colling and playtesting was done by Brendan McCracken, Mickey Sanchez, and the Eggplant Show community, with additional design by AlternaSports Ltd. "Cpt. Pick-a-Card's Great Escape" is another game by the same developer.
