Gorescript achieves a lot in a small package. Iterating on DOOM and other old school shooters, it gives players a killer campaign and a few hours of throwback fun. If the visual design were a bit more interesting and the platforming was stripped out, it'd be a real winner.

"Gorescript" is a classic first-person shooter game, inspired by legendary old FPS games, with 18 handcrafted levels and various difficulty settings. The game has added full controller support, an improved HUD displaying powerups, keys, and automap, and the option for center weapon placement. The automap is now an overlay, inventory window removed, and UI scaling improved at higher resolutions.
