  • The mini-games are enjoyable and provide a fun way to interact with the characters, making it a good time spender.

  • The gameplay can become repetitive and lacks depth, with limited customization options and a focus primarily on visual appeal rather than engaging mechanics.

The graphics in the game are generally praised for their unique blend of anime and human features, offering visually appealing character models, particularly of female characters. However, some players feel that the focus on visuals overshadows gameplay, with a desire for more realistic physics and diverse clothing options. While the graphics are considered good for a PSP port, there are criticisms regarding the simplification of visuals and content compared to the original game.

    • “Nice graphics and quality gameplay mechanics on the volleyball games.”
    • “I'd rate the graphics good for a PSP port.”
    • “The graphics are pretty good for the PSP and resemble the first DOA Xtreme game for the Xbox.”
    • “I wouldn't really recommend the game too much. It has a lot of sexual content, which might scare people who don't want to play a weird game, especially with others around. I do wish the physics on the women's breasts would move more realistically; it really bugs me that it's so weird and makes any of the character models look disgusting.”
    • “The graphics are dumbed down with the addition of a new character, Rio, and the overall visual quality seems to have suffered for some odd reason.”
    • “It's more visuals than actual gameplay. To me, it's more of a pleasant art of women, but the lack of customization and mini-games makes it boring over time.”
  • gameplay5 mentions

The gameplay of the game is often overshadowed by its visual appeal, particularly the character models, which some players find more inspiring for artistic purposes than engaging for traditional gaming. While the volleyball mechanics are praised for their quality and tight controls, the overall experience can become repetitive, lacking in customization options and diverse gameplay elements. Additionally, the presence of sexual content and limited character outfits may deter some players, making it more suitable for those who appreciate the aesthetic rather than seeking a robust gaming experience.

    • “Nice graphics and quality gameplay mechanics on the volleyball games.”
    • “It has tight mechanics and controls and can be a blast to play.”
    • “I haven't completed the game yet; I got around to 3 of the girls, but essentially the gameplay is pretty much the same for each one.”
    • “There can be some lag during volleyball gameplay.”
  • music2 mentions

The game allows players to use their own music from the PSP as a radio station, but some users feel that certain genres, like metal and rock, can disrupt the intended atmosphere while engaging with the game's content.

    • “The ability to play music stored on your PSP in the game as a radio station adds a unique touch, although I found that certain genres like metal and rock can disrupt the overall mood while watching the characters.”
    • “Another feature is that you can play music stored in your PSP in the game as a radio station, but I never used it much because some kinds of music like metal and rock sort of throw off the mood when watching what the girls are doing.”
  • story1 mentions

The story aspect of the game is largely overshadowed by its focus on visual appeal, particularly the detailed character models of women, which some players appreciate as art rather than a narrative-driven experience. While there is a desire for more engaging gameplay and story elements, many players feel that the game primarily caters to those who enjoy the aesthetic rather than a compelling storyline. Overall, the lack of depth in the narrative and gameplay leads to a sense of monotony for those seeking a richer gaming experience.
