"Crucible of Xes" is a text-based adventure game where players must navigate through portals and defeat progressively stronger foes using abilities, spells, items, and cunning. Losing a fight allows players to upgrade a stat and try again, and there are multiple ways to emerge victorious. The game is still in early development and encourages feedback for improvement.
