“The soundtrack is exceptional and worth the price of admission alone.”
“Horrific controls, horrific music, a terrible beginner experience for anyone not already experienced with drifting.”
“Trying to play this with a keyboard is pretty frustrating, and the music was so repetitive I just couldn't keep playing.”
“The only downfall is some of the achievements bug and the music can become annoying if it isn't your thing but could easily be turned off; however, a way to implement your own music would be great.”

The game's story mode is notably short, typically lasting only 2-3 hours, which many players find disappointing given the potential for deeper narrative engagement. While the missions are fun and varied, they often feel repetitive and lack substantial storytelling elements, leading to a focus on gameplay mechanics rather than a compelling narrative. Despite its brevity, the game offers high replay value through free-roam challenges and competitive events, making it enjoyable for players who prioritize gameplay over story depth.
“You get a cool story with some awesome music!”
“Although the main 'story' of the game may only take 2-3 hours, the replay value is incredibly high.”
“The game then releases you into a free-roaming environment with a few missions you have to do to unlock more stages.”
“The story is much too short, but there are many challenges and a fun free roam to mess around in.”
“The game does not have any story elements whatsoever unless you count the 'journey to become drift master' nonsense that you're given in the tutorial.”
“Overall the game's 'story' should take about 2-3 hours to finish, but the game is far from over at that point.”

Some users report extensive playtime due to the game's mechanics and competitive elements, while others find the replay value lacking, especially if they are not invested in improving their scores.
“Absolute Drift is a fun short game, but don't get discouraged about its length because there is plenty of replayability if getting high scores is your kind of thing.”
“The minimalistic visuals belie the game’s surprisingly complex and thoughtfully crafted driving physics; this is a game that is fairly easy to get into, but contains a depth and replayability that I was not expecting.”
“The high score system leaves the game with heaps of replayability, banging your head against the wall again and again to get 30,000 extra points.”
“Its a fun game and you can play it on a potato, although this game doesn't have much replayability.”
“Replay value is not that high in my opinion, but it is fun if you can get it for a buck or two.”

It's really sad that the learning curve is so massive that it acts like a wall that keeps most players from enjoying this. It's sad, because those who'll persevere, and manage to reach that 'Zen' level of razor-sharp precision, are the only ones who can really understand how exciting Absolute Drift can be. That being said, when a game is all about drifting, the fun factor won't last for long.
