In 7th Dragon 2020-II, a year has passed since the events of the first game and Murakumo has set up base in the Metropolitan Government Building to focus on rebuilding. However, when Squad 13 is called to the Tokyo Sky Tower to eliminate some monsters, a portal appears at the tower's top, releasing Dragons with the intent to destroy humanity once more. Now, Squad 13 must rise to the challenge and protect humanity from the 7th Dragon.
