- July 22, 2019
- Friend & Foe Games
- 2h median play time
Vane is an interesting, beautiful, and provocative indie platformer brought down by design inconsistencies and bugs, but fans of the genre will find something to like here.
"Vane is a single-player, historical open-world game with wonderful visuals and a perfect soundtrack. As a bird transformed into a child, players explore a ruined desert, shifting between forms to unravel the world's mysteries. The minimalistic environment evolves alongside the player, creating a unique and personal journey set to a haunting synth score."

Critic Reviews
Vane Review
Vane's first fifteen minutes are amazing. Then the game plummets in quality faster than a diving bird. Tons of glitches, obtuse puzzle, terrible controls, an awful camera, and stuttering frame rate keep Vane from being worth your time.

Have some high points, but they soon give way to glaring faults. Not the worst, but difficult to recommend.
