"The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures" is a fantasy action game that offers both single and multiplayer options. It's the first Zelda title to let a single player control multiple Links, using formations to manage them. The game features separate, replayable stages and draws inspiration from "A Link to the Past" for its music, graphics, and locations. Up to 4 players can cooperatively play the main campaign in multi-player mode.
