"The Hanging Heart" is a fantasy interactive fiction game where players, as a heartless individual, are drawn to a possibly malicious tree that holds a shimmering heart. The game takes place in a world where hearts are sources of power and magic, and the protagonist has no heart due to unclear reasons. As the world recovers from the war of the angels, the protagonist must navigate their longing for a heart and the dangerous allure of the hanging heart. The game was created for the @interact-if's game jam using Twine.
