The Archivist and the Revolution

"The Archivist and the Revolution" is a slice-of-life/romance/history simulator game set in a far-future sealed city with a history of destruction and revival. The player controls Em, a middle-aged woman navigating rent payments, chronic illness, and past relationships. With a strong emphasis on worldbuilding and science fiction themes, the game has received numerous accolades and honors, including 4th place in the IFComp 2022 and an IGF Honorable Mention for Excellence in Narrative.
