SimCity is a classic city-building simulation game, first released for the Macintosh, which has since been expanded to various platforms. The series, which includes SimCity 2000, SimCity 3000, SimCity 4, and more, lets players design, manage, and grow their own cities. SimCity, preceding the popular life simulation game The Sims, was Maxis's best-selling product until 2000.
