  • graphics
    5 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The game's stylized graphics are well-suited for its puzzle mechanics, enhancing the overall experience despite some minimal depth perception issues with certain vehicles. Players appreciate the unique art style and the distinct design of each map, which complements the gameplay effectively.

    • “The art style really suits this little puzzle game.”
    • “Overall though, it's a great game with stylized graphics that really challenge your driving skills.”
    • “I also really enjoy the art style and the fact that each map is on its own block.”
    • “The minimal graphics lack depth perception for some vehicles.”
  • optimization
    3 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The game is well-optimized, running smoothly and demonstrating compatibility with PS4 controllers, enhancing the overall user experience.

    • “The game runs smoothly and it’s compatible with my PS4 controller.”
    • “The optimization is impressive, allowing for seamless gameplay even on lower-end hardware.”
    • “I appreciate how well the game manages resources, resulting in minimal lag and a consistently high frame rate.”
  • music
    2 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The music in the game, characterized by chill lofi tracks, complements the low poly aesthetic and enhances the overall experience, despite the game's challenging nature. While it provides a relaxing backdrop, players note that the gameplay can be intensely frustrating, especially when pursuing achievements. Overall, the soundtrack is well-received for its fitting atmosphere amidst the game's demanding mechanics.

    • “The music really helps with that; it works well with the art style.”
    • “Do not be fooled by the low poly aesthetic and chill lo-fi music; there is nothing relaxing about this game. If you don't mind not getting any of the achievements (by using the third-person camera), the game is fairly fun to play. However, if you are foolish (like me) and decide to attempt to get any of the perfect achievements, good luck, especially when you get to level 38 (in Europe). The reality of the scale of the task you are aiming to complete starts becoming clearer. Trying to reverse two absolutely huge fridge trailers connected by a dolly (blindside, because when technically there's space, realistically there just isn't enough space to complete it from the other direction), you end up spending days on end just trying to get past one level with a 5-minute time limit. I wouldn't wish getting the achievements on my worst enemy; it's like if Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Dark Souls had a baby.”
  • gameplay
    1 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

The gameplay offers a casual experience while also featuring challenge modes and a sandbox mode, providing players with a variety of options to engage with the game.

    • “You can play the game perfectly casually, but there are also some challenge modes and a sandbox mode in addition to the main gameplay.”
  • grinding
    1 mentions Positive Neutral Negative

Players generally find that grinding in the Farming Simulator, particularly the task of emptying combines while reversing, is manageable and not overly cumbersome. This suggests that the game's mechanics allow for a smoother experience during repetitive tasks.
