The gameplay is characterized by simple controls that are easy to learn, though the user interface can become cumbersome when navigating between sections. While the game prioritizes gameplay over narrative, it offers solid replayability through its progression mechanics, making it an enjoyable experience overall, especially for fans of the side-scroller bullet hell genre.
“Gameplay-wise, the controls are simple to pick up and play. The UI can get a bit cumbersome when navigating from the shop section to the upgrade section, and the only bugs I've faced thus far were in non-boss-related levels, which don't end as they would when replaying them.”
“Overall, the game's replayability as a progression mechanic is what drove me to this game in the first place, and it hasn't disappointed me enough to not recommend it casually.”
“Great graphics and great gameplay.”

“Story-wise, outside of collecting logs after starting from the beginning, only selecting a level provides any context to where you are in the narrative. Otherwise, gameplay takes a higher precedence.”
“As a side-scroller bullet hell, its game mechanics are simplistic.”

Players find the grinding aspect of the game tedious, as it requires repetitively replaying sequences to earn supplies and credits for upgrading the underpowered starter ship. This lack of variety in the grinding process detracts from the overall experience, making progression feel more like a chore than an engaging challenge.
“Slowly earn supplies and credits to upgrade the woefully underpowered starter ship, grinding if necessary, to progress through wave after wave of underwater enemies.”
“This grinding degrades the experience by forcing players to replay sequences multiple times without offering any variety for their effort.”
