"Nyghtmare: The Ninth King" is a dark-fantasy action-platform game with classic-Vania style gameplay, aiming to evoke the authentic GameBoy retro feel of games like NES Castlevania and MegaMan. Players control Aryn, a young woman who awakens in the forgotten Kingdom of Mortemire and must use her iron whip to navigate through its decaying streets, confronting frustrating enemy placements and making nigh-impossible leaps to save the kingdom from a nightmarish fate.
