Gotcha Racing 2nd
In conclusion, Gotcha Racing Second is a racing game that reeks of genericness. Barebones presentation, generic music, boring track layouts, and little reason to keep more than one vehicle around, since you can replace your worst parts with better newer ones and just keep improving on the vehicle you already have.

- It features no morally bankrupt microtransactions, allowing players to enjoy gacha mechanics without spending real money.
- The gameplay is addictive, with a variety of tracks and game modes that encourage players to keep coming back for new parts and upgrades.
- The game can be frustratingly difficult, especially for casual players, with highly-skilled AI and potential grinding required to progress.
- Some technical issues exist, such as glitchy engine sounds and a disorienting camera setup.
- The overall presentation feels generic, with boring track layouts and limited multiplayer options.
- grinding5 mentions Positive Neutral Negative
Reviews indicate that while the game is not overly grindy in its core mechanics, players may face significant grinding in single-player mode to earn money for parts, especially against challenging AI. This can lead to frustration and a steep difficulty curve, making it more suitable for dedicated players who are willing to invest time. Overall, casual players may find the grinding aspect off-putting after a few hours of gameplay.
“Single player involves potentially a ton of grinding to get money to play the machine for parts, and at times makes winning races feel impossible against highly-skilled AI.”
“In the end, it's just way too difficult for all but hardcore racers who don't mind near-endless grinding and frustration to improve and play through the game.”
“Too much grinding happens after 4 hours of gameplay.”

40%Gotcha Racing 2nd
Gotcha Racing 2nd is an incredible slice of generous retro racing content with hidden depths; one you can play for two minutes or two hours and always have incredible fun while at it. There is no single winning car combination so you will constantly keep coming back to get new parts and customise your four different designs in order to shave off seconds in the Grand Prix tracks and the game might even turn out to become a party favourite with your friends. Additive, fun and bursting with content for a sensible price we can’t but unquestionably recommend this second outing of overhead racing extravaganza even if you missed out on the first game. As for us, off we go to the gacha machine... again...
