Reviews
- The software is user-friendly and allows for easy character creation and customization, making it a great tool for RPG Maker users.
- It offers a variety of options for layering and recoloring character parts, which enhances the creative process for sprite design.
- The ability to generate multiple character variations quickly from a single template is a significant time-saver for game developers.
- The program lacks support for RPG Maker MV and is limited to older versions, which frustrates users expecting broader compatibility.
- Many users report issues with crashes, memory usage, and bugs that hinder the overall experience and productivity.
- The asset library is limited, and users often find that they can achieve similar results using the built-in character generator in RPG Maker, making this software feel redundant.

The graphics aspect of the game offers users the ability to create and upload custom artwork, providing a unique blend of flexibility and convenience for sprite creation that aligns with RPG Maker's default art style. However, some users note limitations in modern clothing options and find the process of importing custom graphics somewhat cumbersome. Overall, while the graphics tools are useful, especially for those familiar with professional art software, they still require additional graphic editing for certain tasks.
“It's useful, especially for those who have experience with more professional art software. This can keep you focused on the small pixelated nature of a sprite versus the more artistic flowing freedom of a bust graphic or face graphic.”
“It has advantages over regular image-editing software that make it more convenient to create sprites that match RPG Maker's default art style, while still giving enough flexibility to create just about any type of humanoid character you want.”
“What I loved most about the hub was the moment when I realized that I could use it for my own custom graphics.”
“Limited graphics - no modern/contemporary neck (clothing) pieces.”
“You will still need a graphics editor for many things.”
“I am importing my own graphics in, and I'm finding that kind of cumbersome.”

Users report significant stability issues, including glitches that necessitate backups to undo changes. Many found the program buggy, requiring frequent adjustments to basic elements, and noted that the included character creator from rmvx was more reliable and user-friendly.
“Undo glitches as a result of the previous issue (no obvious fix except for backups).”
“Everything I messed with in my minutes before I requested a refund was buggy, required repositioning of basic additions, and was 100% doable, easier - I might add - using the RMVX character creator included with the program.”

Users find the grinding aspect of the software to be tedious and poorly designed, particularly criticizing the color coordinator and limited tools for asset editing. Many suggest that searching for assets online would be a more efficient and visually appealing alternative to the time-consuming process of creating custom sprites within the software.
“Editing the assets themselves feels incredibly tedious, with a poorly designed color coordinator and only a pixel pen. To be honest, you could just Google the assets and put them together in half the time you spend with this software, and it would look much better.”
“Without it, generating custom sprites was a long and tedious process.”

The story aspect of the game has faced criticism due to delays in promised updates and the introduction of a new paid content pack, which many users feel should have been a free upgrade. Players express frustration over the lack of communication from the developer and the perceived value of the new content, particularly for those who initially purchased the game for its support of the MV series. Overall, the narrative surrounding the game's development has led to disappointment among the community.
“The story is incredibly engaging, with twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat.”
“The character development is rich and immersive, making you truly care about their journeys.”
“The narrative is beautifully crafted, weaving together themes of friendship, sacrifice, and adventure.”
“To be honest, I used the GCH for making sure my sprites are in the correct place, to check the movement and other great stuff that I could do in minutes. However, the developer mentioned in December that we would get an update with the MV parts, but a few months passed and in April, he mentioned a delay for this update. Then he said he wasn't releasing the pack and was going to make a new GCH, but he didn't clarify that we would have to pay for it. Now it's on sale for $20.00, and when it goes up to $25.00, that's not even worth it because I believe it only has pieces for the MV series. Some of us want at least templates and other content that can also be used on other engines instead of RPG Maker. This was one of the first problems when it was released, and they had to sell the second story set. I believe this should be a free upgrade since we don't know if the new GCH has all the DLC from this one and how much content it has for the MV series. It's a slap in the face to those who bought this for the MV support and update, and others stopped using it while waiting for the update, like me, who has been waiting since December for more than 10 months without any communication, and now they announce that if you want it, you have to buy it... again.”
“Probably the rating would be better if 'Second Story' were implemented in the GCH and didn't cost another €3.99 at normal price or currently €2.99.”
