"Exhaustlands" is a driving exploration game set in a war-torn world, where players join the Resistance and gather resources in preparation for battle against an encroaching fascist army. Gameplay involves clicking and holding to drive, finding locations for fuel and character swaps, and returning to HQ when enough faith has been accumulated to fight the Darkness. The game was created in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare competition, with a focus on teamwork and faith as key elements in the struggle against fascism.
