Beak, Feather, & Bone Systems Reference Document is a Creative Commons-licensed resource for creating tabletop RPGs based on its core mechanics, such as genre re-skins, additional communities, and maps. The SRD does not include specific examples, worldbuilding, or artwork from the full Beak, Feather, & Bone publication, allowing creators to develop original material for their derivative works. Once a new game, supplement, or sub-system is built on the BFB SRD, creators can distribute and sell their derivative works.
